Thesis Office Open House and Workshop on September 12 and 13:
The Thesis Office is having an open house—September 12 and 13 in Room 612
of the Sterling Evans Library—to show graduate students how to save time,
money, and effort prior to writing a thesis or dissertation.
Graduate students are encouraged to attend so they can meet the courteous,
professional staff members who help students plan for writing their thesis
or dissertation, learn essential requirements and guidelines, and discover
resources available to them on the Thesis Office Web site.
Refreshments will be served throughout both days and students may stop by
at any time to visit with staff members, pick up information or ask questions.
An informative workshop for students, presented September 12 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.,
will cover requirements, guidelines and helpful hints.
The same workshop will be offered again September 13 at 2 p.m.
for students who were unable to attend one of the previous times.
A workshop geared toward graduate advisors will be presented September 13 at 10 am.
The latest information related to theses and dissertations will be shared
with graduate advisors during this workshop.
Preplanning is the key to saving time, money and effort.
And the Thesis Office staff wants to help students plan effectively
for their thesis or dissertation. So mark your calendar and attend
the Thesis Office open house September 12 or 13 in 612 Evans.
